2011-2012 School Calendar
** Bad Weather - In case of inclement
weather, parents should listen to school closing information on
local radio and television stations.
* School Spirit Days - Every Friday!
Tri-C Elementary School encourages students to show their school
spirit by wearing orange and navy blue to school every Friday!
* Lost and Found - Check the lost and found in
our all-purpose room if you have lost any item of clothing or other
article. All unclaimed items will be routinely donated to the Food
Pantry.
* Going Outside - We will be going outside for
lunch recess as long as the temperature is above 30 degrees.
* Perfect Attendance and On Time to School - Learning
to be prompt is a quality that we want to teach our children. It
is a part of our creed. Perfect attendance is being linked with
tardiness. Children who are tardy to school will not be recognized
for perfect attendance. School starts at 8:05 a.m. The tardy bell
rings at 8:05 a.m. Students who arrive at school after the 8:05
a.m. bell should come to the the office to receive a tardy pass.
Students who are signed out prior to the end of the school day are
also considered "tardy" and/or absent for part of the
day.
* Student Recognition Day & All-Star Luncheon - Thank
you for supporting our Student Recognition Day and All-Star Luncheon.
The All-Star Luncheon is for 3rd and 4th grade students who either
have received all A's on their report card or have fulfilled all
of their responsibilities for the 9 weeks.
* Parking Off Road - Please do not park off of
the paved areas around or in front of the school We have had several
get stuck and it is a challenge to grow anything in those areas.
We are anticipating more parking as the High School project progresses.
Thanks!
* Party Invitations- We will no longer be allowing
party invitations to be passed out at school. This out of concern
for the privacy and protection of our students. Please use the US
Mail or other methods when inviting students to parties. Please
see our
Student Handbook regarding Party Invitations for more details.
