This is an important meeting.  We will be holding nominations for officers for the 2008-09 school year.  If you can't make it to the meeting and want to run for a position, contact a board member.

Babysitting will be provided.

We will then hold elections on Thursday, April 10th at 6 p.m.

Wildlife Program

Things will get a little wild at Tri C on Thursday, April 3rd.  We will have a special program featuring monkeys, snakes, and birds.  This assembly will be presented to the children during the day.  Then that evening, the program is open to families.  The cost for entry is $5 per person.  It should be a truly wild experience for our kids!

Also please note in our Fundraising section, Family Dough Night with Dominos Pizza has moved to the first WEDNESDAY of each month.  The next one is Wednesday, March 5th.  Thanks for your support.

 

Playground Progress

As many of you know, we've just started a fundraising campaign to expand the playground at Tri C Elementary school.  So far, we've raised just over $3,600 toward this goal.  This is a great start, but we will need to raise more funds to reach this goal in the next few years.  Check back for updates on our progress and other fundraisers!

Cartridges for Kids
Please send any old cartridges, cell phones, MP3 players, video games to school for this program.  We receive a donation for each item we collect.

Family Dough Night

This year we are participating in this fundraiser with the Domino's Pizza in Carterville (985-3030). On the first Wednesday of each month, the Tri C Elementary school will receive $1.00 per order.  Contact 
Debbie McKinney for more information.  The class that has the most representation each month will win a pizza party!

Kroger Cards
You can also purchase a Kroger card through the PTO for $5.00.  You then charge the card by putting how much money you want on it, then when you go through the checkout line and use the card, the PTO will receive a portion of purchase.  Contact
Toni Olsen to buy a card.

We also collect the above mentioned labels.  You can click on each on to learn more about the program.   Clip your labels and send them to school.  If you'd like to volunteer to help sort, cut, and send in the box tops, please let us know.
