Sight Words

  Sight words are words that good readers should instantly recognize without having to figure them out.  I will send a list of the Sight Words home as well as a set of  Sight Word flashcards with your child.  We will practice
them in the room on a daily basis.  It would be extremely helpful to
your child's reading progress if you practice them with your child
each evening.  You can make practicing thee words enjoyable by
playing the following games using the Sight Words; Concentration, Go Fish, and Old Maid.  I will be happy to explain how you can use these Sight Words to play these games.
