Rockin’ Behavior Clip Chart:
This behavior chart will reinforce positive behavior, as well as
keep students aware of their negative behavior. Each child will have
a clip with their name on it. The clips will start in the middle of
the chart each day. When a student is to be reinforced for their
positive behavior, their clip will be moved up the neck of the
guitar. When a student is to have a consequence for negative
behavior, their clip will be moved toward the bottom of the guitar.
The student’s clip will be moved only one each time. The colors on
the guitar represent different levels of behavior. They are as
follows:
You’re A Rockstar! Welcome To Hollywood! (Red) – This is the
highest level for positive behavior/reinforcement a student can
reach. Student will something out of the prize box.
Can I Have Your Autograph? You’re Going To Be Famous! (Orange) –
This is a level of positive behavior/reinforcement. Student will
earn an extra recess.
A Stellar Performance! Keep It Up! (Yellow) –
This is a level of
positive behavior/reinforcement. Student will earn a card for their
name to go in a drawing at the end of the week for a prize.
Let’s Rock ‘N’ Roll! You’re Ready To Learn! (Green) –
This is level where all students start each day.
Singing The Blues. Practice Makes Perfect! (Blue) –
This is a level of negative behavior/consequences.
Students will receive a verbal warning about their behavior and will
miss a recess.
Speak With The Management. Parent Contacted And A Consequence
(Purple) –
Teacher will hold a conference with the student. The parent will be
contacted by phone, note home, or email. The student will miss a
recess.
All Tour Dates Cancelled. Principal And Parent Contacted And A
Consequence (Pink) –
Teacher will hold a conference with the student. A discipline
referral will be sent with the student to the principal. The parent
will be contacted by phone, note home, or email. The student will
receive a consequence decided upon by the principal. |
