We are using our new track to see how
many marathons we can get in this school year. We try to make a
daily trip to the track to get our laps in. Students can either
run or walk to gain their mileage. We are participating this
project to promote lifetime fitness along with the importance of setting
goals and completing them!

Our district uses this online assessment program.
Study Island is an instructional tool to help
students prepare at their grade level for state
testing. Each child in my class will have
their own usernames and passwords. I will
send these home at a later date. We will use
Study Island during our computer lab times and
during free time in the classroom. I am also
encouraging you and your student to utilize this
great resource at home, by clicking on the logo
above or by going to
www.studyisland.com.
The students can
either play educational games or take practice
tests over concepts they will see on the ISAT
test or on concepts we are studying in class. Explore this site
and have fun!
