Trouble in Tumbleweed
By Tim Kelly
In this
western-comedy that is set in the late 1800s in Tumbleweed, Arizona, a
group of residents are in a frenzy because the person who financed the
town is sending an inspector to evaluate the spending of the money and
developing of the town into the territorial capital. This is where the
confusion begins. The residents of the town, most who are related to
one another, must quickly rally together to hide the unfinished school,
an improper postmistress, the town hall which is nothing more than a
hole in
the ground, and relatives who are on the take.
The action quickly escalates when the residents believe
they know who the inspector is, a man with a medicine show wagon, when
really they have
guessed incorrectly. However, this medicine show man, along with an
accomplice, take full advantage of this situation. Therefore, with all
of the misconceptions, dirty characters, and old-time setting, the
hilarity of the situation will keep each audience member on the edge of
his seat.
