Written by Thornton Wilder, set in the early 20th century, it is the story of a small, New England town and the lives of the citizens.  The play has a scarce amount of props so it is up to the stage manager to interact with the audience to guide the scenes in the play and to point out observations of things that would otherwise go unnoticed.  The play spans over the lives of the town members over the years, particularly George Gibbs and Emily Webb, throughout a number of years.  Our
Town depicts the average life of the town of Grover's Corners over the course of several years.  This play can either make you laugh, make you cry, or even both.
