Attendance

Parent responsibilities: When sickness, emergency, or other valid cause necessitates absence, parent (s) or guardian (s) are to call the attendance office between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the day of the absence. The phone number to call is 985-2940. Failure of a parent or guardian to excuse the student by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the absence will cause the attendance will cause the attendance to be unexcused. (Extenuating circumstances will be considered. In no situation will the extension go beyond 3 days.) If a call must be placed earlier due to a parent's work schedule, a phone answering system is used to record the call.
