Mr. Diel is a proud alumnus
of Carterville High School(class of 1997) and of the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign(class of 2001). Mr. Diel graduated with a degree in
History and a minor in Secondary Education. His student teaching was
completed at Centennial
High
School in Champaign, Il. Mr. Diel also spent his collegiate years
coaching football, baseball and softball at Unity High School in Tolono, IL.
Following graduation from the U of I, Mr. Diel found his first teaching
position at Kirksville High
School in Kirksville, MO. After only one year there, a position at Carterville High School opened
and the rest is history in the making!
