Mrs. Linda Emery graduated from Benton High School, and married Gary Emery who taught Business at Carterville High School. They had two daughters together, and now they have a wonderful grandson and granddaughter. Mr. Emery retired at the end of the school year 2004-2005. Mrs. Emery taught at Ziegler-Royalton for 15 years before she came to Carterville to teach she was an aide for Mrs. Johnson for 3 years, before she started teaching a class of her own. She enjoys quilting and knitting.
