Each fall the Tech classes construct a play house that is displayed at Illinois Centre Mall in Marion during the Christmas season and then raffled to benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The 2006 play house was designed as a tree house, which was decorated by Mrs. Deanna Heal and the Art Club students.
In Mr. Fleming's Drafting classes, his students are currently creating their own floor plans of houses that they have designed. Some of the students are also preparing for the State Drafting Competition at Bloomington-Normal.
In his Woods 1 classes, they are making the Ratchet Candle stand. In his Woods 2 classes, they are making the Old Schoolhouse Clock.
