I am from Galesburg, IL, but Southern Illinois really
feels like home to me. I graduated in 2007 from SIUC and then moved to
Las Vegas, NV to pursue my Master's degree. I truly missed Southern
Illinois and I couldn't be happier being back. This is my third year
teaching in Carterville. I taught 5th grade last year, and am looking
forward to teaching 6th grade again this year!

Hobbies and Interests |
Running is by far my favorite thing to do. I have
run in several 5K races, and I ran my first marathon in December of 2009. I also enjoy just about anything else that involves nature and
the outdoors (camping, rock climbing, boating, hiking, swimming, etc.). I played volleyball
throughout junior high and high school, and still enjoy playing with friends.
I am now the assistant coach of the Carterville High School Volleyball
team! This will also be my second year coaching the Carterville
Intermediate School Cheerleaders. Go Cubs! When I have free time I enjoy reading,
cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. |
