I have been
teaching for more than 25 years. I am married and I
live in Carterville. I have 2 children and 3
grandchildren. I love teaching and am willing to help
my students in any way to make them responsible, caring
people and provide them with a good education.

Memorizing math facts is
very important. There are many games that can help in
addition to the traditional method of short term drill using
flashcards. Homework is much easier and more quickly done if
you know your facts.
I encourage you to have your
student use Study
Island and practice their math skills. There are more
than 150 new skills that are presented in 5th grade!
Study Island can be a great help in mastering some of these
skills. Just use game mode to
practice.
