Spelling
We will be working out of Scott Foresman Everyday Spelling book. The textbooks are NEW this year so please treat them with respect and care! Students must have a steno pad to use for assignments given from the textbook. They are required to write in cursive for all spelling assignments and tests.
Weekly Spelling Schedule:
Monday-Introduce lesson, complete first 2 WB pages of lesson
Tuesday-Take pretest
Wednesday-Pass back pretests, 5 x each, complete Practice Master WS
Thursday-Take post test
Spelling Rewards:
100% on pretest = don't have to take the post test, earn 1 sticker
100% on post test = earn 1 sticker
All 5 challenge words correct on pre-/post test = earn 1 sticker
Every 5 stickers = earn 1 jolly rancher
20 stickers = earn free 100 pass (can be used in any subject)
