Mon., 3/15
  • Turn in green rubric from I.R. project (if not already turned in)

  • Wordly Wise Lesson #11 - due Thursday (test Friday). Be sure to highlight key parts of each definition!

  • Verbs Packet: pg. 2-3 #1-22 (Action Verbs)

  • Read "The Third Wish" (Literature book - p. 274-279)

  • Answer questions #1-4 on pg. 280. Use complete sentences!

  • Complete WB pg. 80 in preparation to write your own fairy tale tomorrow!

  • Get your AR goal from Mrs. Kulinsky. You must have a book by Wednesday and should start bringing your AR book and folder each day.

Tues., 3/16
  • LAB - Fairy Tale Assignment (due Tuesday, 3/23). Be sure to follow instruction sheet carefully!

  • Turn in WB pg. 80

Wed., 3/17
  • Turn in Verbs pg. 2-3 #1-22.

  • Complete Verbs pg. 4-5 #1-25 (Transitive/Intransitive).

  • Read "Two Kinds" (p. 231-240) - possible quiz Thurs.!

  • Complete WB pg. 69

  • WW#11 due tomorrow!

  • AR (30 minutes - bring a note)

Thurs., 3/18
  • "Two Kinds" quiz?

  • Turn in WW#11 packet

  • Turn in Verbs pg. 4-5 #1-25.

  • Complete Verbs p. 5 #26-42.

  • Turn in WB pg. 69 ("Two Kinds")

  • Complete WB pg. 71

  • Study for tomorrow's WW#11 test!

  • AR (30 minutes - bring a note)

Fri., 3/19

  • WW#11 Test

  • Turn in Verbs pg. 5 (#26-42).

  • Complete Verbs pg. 6, #1-12 (Action/Linking)

  • WB pg. 71 due today

  • Imagine that you are either the mother or the daughter in "Two Kinds." Use your chart (pg. 71) to write a letter to your mother/daughter from the story. Your letter should express your feelings along with details from your chart.  It should be at least 1/2 page in length.

  • AR (30 minutes - bring a note)

  • Remember, Fairy Tale due Tuesday!

  • Answer questions #1-3 (all parts) on p. 260. Use complete sentences!

  • I.R project presentations/Day 3
  • Answer Comparing Characters questions #1-4 (all parts) on p. 261 about "Seventh Grade" and "Stolen Day." Use complete sentences!
  • Do Vocabulary Builder items #1-5 at the bottom of p. 261. Be sure to read and follow the directions!
Thurs., 3/4
  • I.R. project presentations/Day 4 (5th/6th hour only)

Fri., 3/5

Half-day (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hours only)

No Homework!
