I believe students should
be actively involved in the learning process. Subject
matter should be related to the students own lives.
Students should experience success. Students should be
given immediate feedback. Students should be given appropriate
rewards for performance gains. The teacher should model
behavior for enthusiasm. Clear expectations about
student behavior and academic performance should be developed.
Students should have a positive contact with their peers.
Instruction should match the student's level of cognitive and
skill development as well as their learning style(s).
