LIBRARY REGULATIONS
Junior High students may enter the library on a pass issued by the study hall teacher. Students are under the supervision of the librarian while
in the library. Junior High students are expected to pass quietly through the halls on the way to and from the library. No chewing gum, or jackets
are allowed in the library. A student may borrow three items from the school library at a time. Except for OVERNIGHT ONLY reference materials,
books and magazines may be checked out for one week at a time. Unless there is a waiting list for an item, students may renew materials two
additional times. If an item is lost OR DAMAGED, the REPLACEMENT COST is charged for that item. If a student has several overdue items or
an item that is grossly overdue, he/she may not be allowed to check out any other materials until those overdue have been returned. REMOVING
ANY ITEM FROM THE LIBRARY WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING IT OUT, IS STEALING! Failure to abide by ALL library rules will result in the loss
of all or any part of the student’s library privileges.
