| The Carterville Unit District #5 Schools will provide excellence in the basics, foster self-esteem, create an environment to stimulate thinking and instill a sense of accountability on the part of students for decisions and actions. The schools will provide a quality curriculum incorporating practical application of skills. The curriculum shall enhance students’ abilities in preparation for an ever-changing world. The District will make a commitment to communication, maintenance of a strategic plan, and promote involvement among the schools, community, and family. (Adopted by the Board of Education) |
