Before the excitement and sugar kicks in, here's a quick Christmas Break reminder:

📅 Students will dismiss one hour early on Friday, December 19.
❄️ There will be no school from December 22 through January 5.
📚 Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6.

We are wishing all our families a joyful, safe, and laughter-filled holiday break!

Congratulations to CJHS Cheer Team. They have taken 1st place the past two weekends! 1st place in Pinckneyville and Edwardsville ICCA Invitation. Way to go girls!

In observance of Veterans Day, there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11. Today and every day, we thank our veterans for their service to our country.

Carterville CUSD No. 5 is proud to announce our summative designations from the 2025 Illinois School Report Card.

We are excited to share that Carterville High School and Carterville Intermediate School have earned exemplary designations, and Carterville Junior High School and Tri-C Elementary School have been recognized with commendable designations.

This report card reflects the hard work and excellence of our students, teachers, staff, and administrators. We also want to extend our appreciation to our parents and community for their continued support and dedication to the success of our schools.
