FRN Glow

Tri-C Elementary was glowing—literally—during this year’s Family Reading Night, as hundreds of families filled the building for an evening of literacy, laughter, and light-themed fun. The event, centered around the theme “Let’s GLOW Read,” offered students and families a vibrant night of activities designed to celebrate reading and our school community.

A huge thank-you goes to Caroline Mason for coordinating this year’s event with such care and creativity. Her planning brought together an incredible lineup of activities, including glow bingo, glow/rhythmic drumming sessions, guest reader stations, free food for all attendees, and a variety of fun games that kept families engaged throughout the night.

Tri-C also extends heartfelt appreciation to April Knight for her “glowing” decorations that transformed the school into a bright, neon-lit celebration. From black lights to fluorescent accents, her work helped create a magical atmosphere that students won’t soon forget.

We would also like to thank the team from the Anne West Lindsey District Library, who joined us on site to help families register for public library cards—ensuring the love of reading continues well beyond the event.

Most importantly, thank you to the hundreds of families who attended and made the night such a success. Your enthusiasm and support bring these events to life, and we are already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Tri-C’s Family Reading Night once again proved that when our community comes together, learning truly glows.
