We wrapped up our first round of Reading with the Principals today. Our first graders heard from Mrs. Ragan and Mr. Owens. The books included lessons on doing "nice things" and how to get along on the playground. The 1st graders were great listeners!

🦁 Back-to-School Lion Lessons! 🦁
This week, our students are participating in our Back-to-School Lion Lessons, where we review and practice our school-wide ROAR expectations!
Our ROAR expectations are the foundation of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program and help students understand what it looks like to be successful throughout Tri-C. 💙🧡
Throughout the week, students will learn and practice expectations for different areas of our school, helping us start the year with consistent routines and positive habits.
🎥 Parents can join in, too! You can watch our Lion Lesson videos by clicking the link below. This is a great way to see what we're teaching at school and reinforce those same expectations at home.

🦁 Tri-C Elementary Pick-Up & Drop-Off Reminders 🚗
As we get ready for another great school year, thank you for helping us keep our arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!
Please remember these important procedures:
✅ Enter campus from West Grand Avenue onto Lion Drive and follow the drop-off/pick-up signs.
✅ Pull all the way forward in the drop-off lane (past the crosswalk) before stopping so multiple vehicles can load and unload at once.
✅ Students should enter and exit on the passenger side of the vehicle.
✅ If your child isn't ready when you reach the unloading area, please park in the visitor lot and walk them to the building.
✅ Do not pass vehicles in the drop-off line or leave your vehicle unattended.
✅ If you park, always use the designated crosswalks and escort your child across. Students should never cross Lion Drive or parking lot crosswalks without an adult.
✅ Visitor parking should be entered from the northwest entrance and exited from the northeast exit.
✅ Need to change your child's dismissal plans? Please notify the office by 12:00 p.m. whenever possible.
✅ Breakfast is served from 7:30–8:00 a.m. Students eating breakfast should arrive early enough to finish before school begins.
✅ Please do not use the Twin Lakes subdivision for student drop-off or pick-up unless you are a resident.
✅ Cell phone use while driving on school property is prohibited by law.
🌧️ During inclement weather, Kindergarten and 1st Grade parent pick-up students will exit through the front entrance (not the East Wing).
Your patience and cooperation help keep our students, families, and staff safe every day. Thank you for doing your part, and we look forward to a fantastic school year! 🧡💙 #TriCLions #SafetyFirst #BackToSchool
